Rajamouli Following Magadheera Formula For RRR?

As per reports, Ram Charan and Jr NTR who play Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem respectively in RRR die in the early stages of their fight for freedom. And they are reborn just before the pre-Independence era. They then join forces and wage a battle against the britishers. The main narrative will be based on the phenomenon of reincarnation.

Vijayendra Prasad, who is penning the story for the mega multi-starrer had already revealed that RRR is a fictional tale which revolves around the journey of two iconic freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. So, we can expect the makers to take a few cinematic liberties in order to dramatise the whole narrative. It needs to be said that the concept of blending reincarnation with patriotism, and action drama sounds really exciting and pair that with Rajamouli’s stellar narration – you’ll most certainly experience a cinematic brilliance.

In the case of Magadheera,  the lead pair, played by Ram Charan and Kajal die in the pre-historic era without acknowledging their love for each other. They are then reborn in the modern day era and realise their true love. If reports are to be believed, RRR takes a similar path but it comes with a different set-up and story line.

RRR is projected as India’s biggest action thriller and it is slated for release on 13th October, as announced by the makers initially. The film is mounted on a budget in excess of Rs 300 crores. It features Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgan in the lead roles. It will be the first pan-India biggie to release in theaters after Covid second wave.
